Treviso, IT, 19 November 2025 – Enex Technologies, a global pioneer in natural and energy-efficient cooling, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration (“HVACR”) solutions, is proud to announce that it has achieved EcoVadis Bronze Medal, placing the company in the top 25% among industry peers.
Enex technologies was assessed across four performance areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and procurement, obtaining the following evaluations:
- Environment: 78 (+32 vs industry average)
- Labor & Human Rights: 69 (+19 vs industry average)
- Ethics: 50(+7 vs industry average)
- Sustainable Procurement: 43 (+6 vs industry average)
With an overall score of 69/100, Enex Technologies ranks in the 77th percentile of the companies analyzed, significantly improving its position compared to the 2024 period.
This progress reflects the Group’s strengthened commitment to sustainability, guided by the adoption of the Enex Technologies Sustainability Policy, which establishes clear principles and long-term objectives to embed environmental and social responsibility into all business activities.
Following these commitments, Enex Technologies first achieved ISO 14064-1 certification and carried out its first GHG emissions inventory, both key initiatives for measuring the group’s carbon footprint.
In addition, the Group has refined the methodology used to calculate its Impact Counter of Natural Refrigerants’ Adoption, including CO₂ emissions avoided by ammonia (NH₃) and propane (R290) products in the cumulative accounting. This improvement further highlights the positive climate impact of its natural refrigerant solutions, which are both PFAS-free and with near-zero GWP.
Since 2007, Enex Technologies has allowed its end customers to achieve more than 1.15 million tonnes of total CO₂ equivalent emission savings.
Finally, Enex Technologies has aligned its reporting with sustainability standards by joining the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and publishing its first Communication on Progress (CoP), demonstrating compliance to internationally recognized principles on human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.
François Audo, CEO Enex Technologies, stated: “The Ecovadis Bronze Medal is a further confirmation of the strength of our sustainability strategy and of our leadership as a climate tech company. This recognition encourages us to continue developing natural refrigerant solutions that help multiple sectors reduce their carbon footprint and navigate the energy transition.”
This achievement comes at a time when global attention is turning to COP30 in Belém, where sustainable cooling has emerged as a central issue in the global climate debate. According to the United Nations, cooling demand could triple by 2050 (source: UNEP Global Cooling Watch 2025), while emissions from conventional cooling systems risk almost doubling if more efficient and low-carbon solutions are not adopted. In this context, the role of companies like Enex Technologies demonstrates that the private sector can and must help keep expectations high, accelerating the shift toward more sustainable industrial models and supporting global decarbonization goals.
