Enex Technologies launches the first Gas Cooler

Enex Technologies launches the first Gas Cooler  with PS = 140 BAR, a Revolutionary Product  for CO2 Transcritical Systems

The New CO2 Flat Gas Cooler from Enex Technologies offer high performance, energy efficiency and reliability with a PS of 140BAR. It has various options for customization and is suitable for various applications, such as supermarkets, cold rooms, industrial refrigeration and heat pumps.

Treviso, 20 November 2023 – Enex Technologies is proud to announce the launch of its new Flat Gas Cooler, a revolutionary product that offers high performance, energy efficiency and reliability for CO2 transcritical systems.

The CO2 Flat Gas Cooler is designed for outdoor use and can handle cooling capacities from 15 to 900 kW. It features axial fans with EC fan motors, which are compliant with the ErP Directive and offer a wide choice of noise level and capacity to exactly match system requirements. The CO2 Flat Gas Cooler also has a 140 bar pressure rating (an exclusive characteristics in the HVACR market), which allows it to operate at high pressures and increase cycle performance.

The CO2 Flat Gas Cooler has a finned coil made of 7mm copper tubes and louvered aluminum fins, which are built with the ‘Floating pack system’, a technology that allows the coil to levitate and avoid leaks. The headers are made of stainless steel and K65, a high-strength copper alloy that resists corrosion and fatigue. The casing is made of pre-painted aluminum, which is durable and easy to maintain.

We are delighted to introduce a product that truly combines innovation, quality and sustainability. The Flat Gas Cooler is the result of our extensive experience and expertise in the field of heat exchangers, and it represents a breakthrough in the use of CO2 as a natural refrigerant for transcritical systemscommen- ted Fabrice Segura, Enex Technologies Heat Exchangers BU President and COO. We are confident that the Flat Gas Cooler will set a new standard in the market and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption.”

The CO2 Flat Gas Cooler also offers various options for customization, such as copper fins, coated fins, stainless steel casing, anti-dampers, AC fans, shielded wiring, service switch, speed controller, Axitop and wiring into centralized box with magnetothermic switches.

The CO2 Flat Gas Cooler is the ideal solution for CO2 transcritical systems that require high efficiency, low noise and long-lasting performance. It is suitable for various applications, such as supermarkets, cold rooms, industrial refrigeration and heat pumps.
