Enex Technologies appoints François Audo as CEO

François Audo, appointed Enex Technologies CEO, will drive the next steps for sustainable growth of the only HVACR Climate Tech pioneer in Europe to offer innovative, energy efficient solutions using all natural refrigerants – Ammonia, CO2, Propane and Water.

Enex Technologies, a transformative world leader in natural and energy efficient cooling, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration solutions (“HVACR”) that helps reduce global warming and its impact on climate change, is thrilled to announce the appointment of François Audo as its CEO, effective today.

Audo brings more than 30 years of executive experience in manufacturing companies to the role. From 2019 to 2024, François was Vice President and Managing Director of Carrier Residential Light Commercial Europe and Riello, a leading HVAC company. From 2017-2019, he was the Managing Director HVAC France at Carrier. François’ experience also includes 6 years at Xylem Inc., ultimately as President for Southern Europe. Before that, he was EMEA Sales Director at ITT, and Sales Engineer at CSI. He completed his bachelor’s degree in physics at Brighton University (UK).

Greg Deldicque, Founder and Chairman of Enex Technologies, remarked: “I am thrilled to welcome François Audo to the role of CEO at Enex Technologies. With his proven track record of achieving business objectives through customer satisfaction, process improvement, and talent development, he will drive growth, innovation, and transformation. Throughout his 30 years of industry experience, he has clearly demonstrated great success working across cultures and multiple business models. François’ leadership will allow Enex to continue on its path of success”.

François Audo, CEO Enex Technologies, commented: “Enex Technologies is expected to continue its mission of reducing global warming impact through natural and energy-efficient solutions. Our family of brands, which entails the full spectrum of HVAC, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration, and Heat Exchangers solutions committed to environmental sustainability and technological innovation, positions us well for future opportunities in the evolving market. I look forward to working with the strong team already in place at Enex Technologies”.

The new CEO brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in steering companies towards sustainable growth, with a particular emphasis on integration, process improvement, and talent development.

This key appointment comes at a time when the company is expanding its influence in the HVACR industry, following a series of successful acquisitions and innovative product launches. Enex Technologies is today the only OEM who can offer at scale a full natural refrigerant solutions portfolio, doubling the common offering range of the market.

This cutting-edge integrated portfolio empowers now the company to develop and launch one new product every month. The prestigious MCE Innovation Awards recently assigned to the flagship Emicon Everest290 propane heat pump during Mostra Convegno Export (MCE) 2024 is testament to the company’s ability to push boundaries and redefine industry standards.
To support its strong growth, Enex Technologies recently invested over €8 million in new 7.500 m2 headquarters and factory in Treviso, Italy and is currently making a €6 million investment in a new, best-in-class research lab, which will be the only one in Europe specialized in HVACR equipment working with all 4 possible natural refrigerants.

This investment is a further symbol of Enex Technologies’ commitment to Italy, which plays a pivotal role in the project; 6 out of the 12 industrial sites of Enex Technologies are spread between north, east, and central Italy. In Italy alone, Enex Technologies has created over 150 new jobs between 2019 and 2023. Enex Technologies has a 2024 financial plan to reach €200M in sales, doubling its sales versus 2022. Enex 5-year plan targets €350M of sales by 2027.
According to Eurostat, EU buildings are responsible for 40% of energy consumption and 36% of greenhouse gas emissions in Europe. In Italy, heating of residential, commercial and public buildings accounts for over 17.7% of CO2 emissions, according to Ispra data.
