Since 2004 – when Enex was founded by Sergio Girotto, the first engineer to design a CO2 unit – Enex technologies has contributed to emission savings of more than 1 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent with the adoption of its low-GWP products and the replacement of systems using conventional refrigerants with severe environmental impacts.

Enex Technologies is also a proud partner of ENOUGH – an EU-funded consortium composed of 30 partners from 12 European countries – that aims to is to support the EU “Farm to Fork” Strategy by engineering and testing promising technological food chain solutions (processing, transport, retail and domestic). Food systems are globally responsible for between 20 to 40 % of total greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, as a concrete commitment to the protection of biodiversity and life on our planet, Enex Technologies has joined efforts with its scientific partner 3BEE, adopting 3 technological biomonitoring hives within dedicated spaces in Italy, France and Spain.
