Enex Technologies joins the Italian Datacenter Association (IDA)

Treviso, 04 September 2026 – Enex Technologies, the European leader in the development and production of advanced natural refrigerant solutions for industrial, commercial and Data Centre cooling, announces its entry into IDA – Italian Datacentre Association, the Italian association that brings together manufacturers, operators and other players in the national Data Centre ecosystem.

Joining represents a new step in Enex Technologies’ growth path in a strategic sector for the digital transformation and competitiveness of the country. IDA works to promote the recognition and development of a strong and efficient Data Center industry in Italy. Its objectives include strengthening the country as a location for the development of new infrastructure, simplifying construction and management processes, promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, as well as developing the professionalism and skills required by the sector.

The entry into IDA takes place at a time of strong development in the Italian Data Center market. According to the Data Center Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano, in the three-year period 2023-2025, 7.1 billion euros were invested in Italy in the construction and preparation of new infrastructure. By 2028, 83 new projects have also been announced, with a potential value of more than 25 billion euros.

Enex Technologies offers a portfolio of precision HVAC and cooling solutions designed for server rooms, telecom rooms and mission-critical IT environments. The range includes air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, Close Control units, InRow solutions for high-density racks, dry coolers and heat exchangers.
