A new commercial refrigeration installation based on natural refrigerant CO₂ (R744) was implemented in southern France to provide an efficient and environmentally friendly cooling solution for food retail applications.
The project demonstrates the growing adoption of CO₂ refrigeration systems across Europe, where natural refrigerants are increasingly replacing traditional HFC solutions thanks to their very low environmental impact and strong energy performance.
The system supplied by Enex Technologies ensures reliable refrigeration for the store while supporting the transition toward sustainable cooling technologies.

The installation serves a commercial food retail environment requiring continuous refrigeration for display cabinets and cold storage areas.
Commercial refrigeration systems must maintain stable temperatures for food preservation while operating continuously throughout the day. For this reason, system efficiency and reliability are key factors in the design of the refrigeration plant.
