Overview
Located in Europe, this project involved the installation of a high-efficiency cooling system for a data centre, where operational continuity and environmental constraints were equally critical.
Given the proximity to a residential area, the project required a solution capable of delivering high thermal performance while ensuring minimal acoustic impact.


The Challenge
The primary requirement was to ensure effective heat rejection for mission-critical IT infrastructure, while addressing strict noise limitations due to the nearby residential environment.
Key challenges included:
Maintaining reliable cooling for continuous data centre operation

The Solution
To meet these requirements, Enex Technologies supplied three KDV Series dry coolers, specifically configured to ensure optimal thermal performance and acoustic control.
The units were equipped with advanced features tailored to the application:
Adiabatic spray system, enhancing cooling efficiency during peak conditions
Axitop technology, optimising airflow and significantly reducing noise levels
This configuration ensures reliable operation even under demanding thermal loads, while maintaining a quiet system footprint suitable for residential proximity.

Integrated adiabatic cooling system
Axitop diffusers for noise attenuation and airflow optimisation
