Split air cooled reciprocating chiller with remote gas cooler
Yukon C

Yukon is Enex’s innovative range of air-cooled and water-cooled CO₂ transcritical chillers for the cooling of water and brine mixtures, suitable for such applications as process cooling, cold storage, HVAC, ice rinks, wineries, and more. It offers a split configuration with remote gas cooler, ideal for installations where the compressor section must be located in a plant room for noise reduction and easier maintenance. The Yukon unit has one option for heat recovery, which allows it to produce hot water up to 80°C. To produce chilled water and brine, the Yukon unit multi-compressor version features a gravity flooded evaporator system, which ensures simplicity of design, high efficiency, stable control and extreme reliability. It is a unique design particularly suitable for CO₂ refrigerant. For some comfort and brine models, the patented Enex ejector option is also available, which further increases efficiency.

The Yukon range is extremely flexible, comprising two versions with a capacity range from 50 kW to 800 kW:

  1. Comfort: Split chiller with remote gas cooler for water outlet temperature  from +15° C to +5°C, with optional heat recovery
  2. Brine: Split chiller with remote gas cooler for brine outlet temperature from +4°C to -20°C with optional heat recovery
