Enex Technologies at CFIA 2025: Natural Refrigerants for the Future of the Agro-food Industry

The Climate-Tech expert team will be in Rennes to discuss the latest trends in the HVACR industry and share innovative solutions for energy transition based on natural refrigerants.

Treviso, IT, February 20, 2025 Enex Technologies is pleased to announce its participation in the CFIA (Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire) trade fair, which will take place in Rennes, France, from March 4 to 6, 2025. The company will showcase advanced solutions in industrial refrigeration, with a focus on natural refrigerants, technological innovation, and sustainability.

Enex Technologies will present its integrated solutions designed for the agro-food sector at CFIA. Highlighted products include ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems such as MEGA, an ammonia-based industrial chiller that offers exceptional performance with a GWP of zero, and KUBE, a new subcritical CO2 refrigeration unit ideal for low-temperature applications.

Additionally, the SENNA XS rack will be presented, designed to optimize thermal efficiency and ensure low emissions, even in compact spaces.

According to the European Parliament, the agro-food industry accounts for around 10.8% of total CO2 emissions on the continent. “It is clear that the large-scale adoption of natural refrigerant solutions in the agro-food sector is one of the keys to the decarbonization path of the European industry,” said François Audo, CEO of Enex Technologies. “The launch plan for our new products strongly takes into account the specific needs of the sector, which has traditionally been very focused on the benefits that natural refrigerants – primarily ammonia – can provide to the food processing and storage industries.”

Enex Technologies will be present with all its brands (Enex, Kobol Refrigeration, Enex Industrial, Emicon, Ethratech, Kobol, Morgana, Roen Est) at CFIA at booth 8-A8 in Hall 8.
